Kinda' having some difficulty figuring out if there's any significant difference between wins and winning percentages.
Wins is an integral component of percentages.
And yet I understand one coach may have played more games which can have different results. (For example, one coach may have played 1000 games and had a win rate of .68 {68%}, while another 100 games with a win rate of .75 {75%}.)
Statistically, the coach with 1000 games is the stronger of the two, because one loss will not as greatly affect the rate; whereas the one with 100 games will be affected more greatly.
Yet, it could be argued that from a long-term statistical perspective, they are very close to equal. Only time will tell.
So, perhaps its wins AND winning percentage!
Then that would mean having THREE numbers:
1.) Total number of Games Played;
2.) Total number of Games Won;
and
3.) Wins expressed as a Percentage.
