Need health insurance?

Here's how you can get it!

http://www.specialopenenrollment.com/eligible.cfm

For a LIMITED TIME ONLY, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama is having an open enrollment for Alabama residents whom are not otherwise covered by healthcare insurance.

Eligibility and additional details can be found at the url above.

There are some limitations, such as emergency only coverage outside Alabama.

Single coverage is $167/month, and family coverage is $368/month.

That works out to $2004/year and $4416/year.

For some, it may be something worth considering.

For others... well, it IS kinda' pricey.

I am sorry, but $200 per month for health insurance plus another couple hundred for prescriptions, etc., is not acceptable! Many families still have only one family member working! Get real, folks!
I sent letters to senators, etc., to ask if there are any programs that will give the 'working man' a helping hand! No Responses!
The only programs are for those who sit on their lazy 'duffs' and do nothing! It is sad, but true! Anyone who can prove me wrong? I will gladly eat crow!
Yes.

At the time it WAS true.

Now, it no longer is.

What ALL Americans need is the kind of health insurance which Congress gives itself!

Now, imagine what it would be like if EVERY United States citizen were to have such excellent health insurance!

No more non-emergency folks sitting in Emergency Departments for runny noses and coughs.

No more 10+ hour waits to be seen by an overworked Emergency staff.

Instead, you could be seen by YOUR Family Doctor or Family Nurse Practitioner!

You could get your teeth cleaned by a Dentist!

You could get your eyes examined by an Opthamologist (eye surgeon), and then check-ups by Optometrists.

You could have "Healthy Adult" exams... instead of "I'm feeling sick," exams.

What if you got a TAX BREAK for STAYING healthy?

What if you were permitted to have paid time off (1-2 hours/day) to exercise at least three times a week?

What if you could deduct your gym expenses from your income tax?

Well?

What would it be like?
