If you want some great, out of this world Sangria for punch use this recipe:

Makes one gallon:
2- 1.5 litre bottles of good quality Merlot
1-Orange, sliced in 1/4 inch
1-Lemon, sliced in 1/4 inch
1-Lime, sliced in 1/4 inch
1/2 whole pineapple slices
1-peach sliced
10-15 strawberries sliced
1-cup or more of Presidente Brandy Smiler
8oz Sprite
1 cup melted sugar or to your taste(don't make it too sweet)

Optional:
Frozen Rasberries, blueberries, blackberies or other fruit of your choice.

Mix all ingredients except the Sprite in a gallon Tea jug an refrigerate over night leaving room for Sprite. Just before serving add the sprite for a little carbonation.

Warning: eating the fruit after soaking up the wine has been known to cause people to give back things they never stole.

LOL

Enjoy!
