Hi Shoals,

I don't know if the public libraries back home in Alabama have a Friends Of The Library book store inside the libraries. But, most of the libraries here is Southern California have them. And, they have fantastic prices on used books.

Over the years I have found a lot of good books in these stores. Obviously one has to look for books that are not messed up or written all over -- but, that is easy.

I have gone into my local library and walked out with up to 20 to 30 books for $10. My wife refuses to let me go now -- for we have no more space for books.

I have nine 6 foot bookcases and two 4 foot bookcases -- and still have books stacked all over. I keep telling her I just need to get more bookcases. And, she asks, "Where will you put them?" She has a good point; but, all my life I have had a love affair with books.

Check out your local library and see if they have a Friends of The Library book store inside. If not, you might suggest it. You might find many treasures. What one person might donate just to get rid of it -- might be just the book you were looking to find.

When I can find them in good shape, I collect Bibles and hymn books. One day I bought a used NKJV Bible and when I got home and looked inside -- it had belonged to a pastor friend.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
