The Parking lot at Florence Mall has been fenced off over by the North East entrance and between Olive Garden and Starbucks to the point that it's evident that some new construction is underway. Florence Facebook page reports that the new construction is due to a new Chicken Salad Chick restaurant being located in the parking lot by the current Olive Garden restaurant. My best estimate/guess is that the fenced off area is where the Chicken Salad Chick restaurant will be located. A look at the Chicken Salad Chick menu, at least for me, confirms that although I consider myself a foodie I doubt that I will be reviewing Chicken Salad Chick because one of the main ingredients in Chicken Salad is mayonnaise and mayonnaise is one one thing that I just don't like so given that there really isn't much they have that will interest me.
