Yes, remember it well. It's where the old K-Mart eventually wound up. As I recall, they didn't last long, but I remember some of my first grade clothing coming from there.

At the time, Winn-Dixie was located next door. When Maxam closed and had a huge going out of business sale, WD workers were on strike and union members took tag numbers of anyone who parked in the area.

All I can remember is Grants, Woolco and G.F. Wilson's. Oh, and let's not forget Starkey's Restaurant. I hate that it burned so many moons ago.
