I don't know whether it is meant to replace an existing location or be an additional location but I've been told that Fiesta Mexicana is going to be opening up a new location in the old Peking restaurant.

That's the old Shoney's building that is located adjacent to Popeye's Chicken and across the street from the Florence Blvd Arby's and the old Pizza Hut building.

I believe this will replace the Fiesta Mexicana behind the bowling alley. 1 of my friends I have known for several years worked at the temporary TNT Fireworks Supercenter next door and they told me TNT was looking for a new location as someone had bought the building. With Fiesta Mexicana next door in the same building they are likely having to move. If that is the case, it is nice they were able to find a good location to move to fairly close to their current location.

We were told that the old Kmart building was sold and Planet Fitness was opening a 30,000 sq ft fitness center.

No I believe the old Kmart building still does not have a tenant. The part of the building that was sold was where Fiesta Mexicana was and where Save-A-Lot used to be. I could be wrong though, and yes 1 of my friends told me they also heard it Planet Fitness had bought it.

I would hope you would not include Rosie's Cantina in that because they are locally owned and employ, at least to my knowledge, local people that are well documented as being citizens.  True they are more TexMex but they are also considered Mexican cuisine by many.

How in the world do you know they are citizens? Chinese and Mexican restaurants always have the illegals working.
