Go on line and chart the "heating degree days and cooling degree days" for the last 30 years.  That will give you the answer to global warming, but it won't give you the reason why.

I think one should beware of anything Fox News advertises as truth. I quickly scanned the first report claiming to be peer reviewed science. The language would quickly put the non-scientific mind at a decided disadvantage and could be used to easily fool the average ‘ned’.  Being familiar with these scientific matters I saw a mirror image in the report as to what they accuse to Global Warming crowd of. Namely I saw hand-waving and skewing findings to suit their claims against the argument.

Thirty years is not even a blip in the earth's weather history.  Look at the bigger picture and you'll see a sine wave.

There is no other reason to not believe global warming can be due to the human factor to some degree than ignorance.

To "some degree" is a vague statement.  Saying the earth has warmed 0.00001 degree celsius due to human activity would meet that criteria.  The real question is, are the dire warnings of the alarmist correct.  So far, no.

It must consist of no more than a pencil and paper since computer models are out of the question. It is a well known fact that a scientist will lie when truth would have a negative effect on their salary so your sudden enlightenment that has left you bug-eyed may turn out to be based on money.

Little insight into the minds of the people working for Obama.  A friend of mine was in DC for an energy conference.  A BO staffer saw he was from Tennessee and proceeded to tell him they (BO's crew) were going to get us soley on wind energy down here.  My friend who has been in the energy business for a long time responded that the summer time wind availability vs power demand would not allow this and to do so would be against the laws of physics.  The staffer responded with straight face that they would work on getting Congress to change those laws if needed.  My friend just shook his head and walked away.

What is responsible for it is not totally understood but you can bet the overwhelming majority of climate scientists think humans are responsible for some part of it.  I don’t think Carl and yourself are qualified to other than shout out sound bites you have heard on Fox News.

Incredible amount of either misinformation or deliberate disinformation being slung around here.  The IPCC statistics show that global warming ceased 15 years ago.  We are not experiencing the catastrophes predicted -- the isle of Great Britain still exists; the ice over the north pole was supposed to disappear, but is larger this summer than in years; hurricanes are less frequent, not more frequent. 

In Russia, climatologists are predicting a little ice age similar to the 1650 to 1850 cooling cycle.  The Thames and the Seine and the Dutch canals froze over during the winters of that cycle.  Vinyards in England and Germany failed -- that's why they grew grain for beer. 

"United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change lead author Hans von Storch told Der Spiegel that climate models are having a difficult time replicating the lack of global warming during the past 15 years.

“So far, no one has been able to provide a compelling answer to why climate change seems to be taking a break," said Storch.

Got that, even if we are wrong, we are correct in taxing people to drive up energy prices -- making them poorer.  That is the statement of the religious fanatic -- not of a scientist.

What is your source for the events and phenomenon you state.  Doesn't agree with what I've read lately.

I repeat my earlier post.  Get the last 30 years of heating degree days and cooling degree days and make a chart.  Your answer will be looking you in the face.  But it will not tell you the reason why.

The heating degree and cooling degree days used to be on the local weather each day.  For some reason, they quit reporting them.  These are actual numbers, not some Fox reported numbers.

The increasing freshwater and thinning polar ice cap was caused by a nefarious plot called "SUMMER."  This terrible plot instigated by outside influences identified by some at Ra and by others as Helios was once again defeated.  Others identify the plotter of this terrible phenomenon as the Sol.
