AA, thanks for cooking! Awesome job. Bumble has the market cornered on taters and corn. YUM. I loved your antique cooking pot. Pickler - the ooey gooey was to die for. Papa Tim's candy apple casserole was fantastic!!! Somehow, I got home with the leftover cornbread muffins Tomfan sent. I will have to eat them all.

The kids were like little ducks! Looked like they had a great time.

And Bumble - the T's were great!! I can't wait to wear mine.

Someone said it was wet and messy? That must have been inside the vehicle they were in (guess they didn't see the bathrooms) , because it wasn't under the shelter! The sun was definitley shining there

We had a great time. Great food, great friends and great conversation! My only regret is not getting a chance to sit and talk to some of you

we all kinda make plans for the next M&G while we clean up and get ready to go. we decided on a hamburger and hot dog M&G for the next one. it will be in about a month! i hope you guys decide to come and i hope the weather is a little more cooperative. hahahahaha

Geddon and I along with the indians (or ducks ) had a great time. That was some excellent shrimp!!! Thank you Bumble for melting the butter for me AA, the watermelon was even better than last time!! Thank you all for the work you put into making this so much fun. It was great to finally meet OB - I think I would have known you anywhere . It was good to me Iam4everalive as well. I can tell you will fit right in with the sheeps and peeps.

glad to see our newbies (i doubt they are virgins...) y'all are all a great group of folks. thanks to everyone, especially aa and family, for cooking and also to everyone who helped clean up, especially that squirrel who came out and did in the leftover watermelon.

the rain was good - maybe it helped keep those who melt away. at least it wasn't real hot like last time! gotta look at the bright side.

as far as driving by and not stopping, your loss. i doubt you did so, since your description is not accurate. but that's ok - probably only positive people, wanting to meet some new friends would want to be there anyway.

I had a really good time today. Good people and good food just seems to do that. Sorry WIP but we didnt get to play dodgeball, instead we played dodge the kids with waterguns lol. If you did drive by and didnt stop, you missed out on a great time. But if you only saw a few people and they were huddled up then you were at the wrong place. We were the ones where about 20 kids were running around squirting each other (and us) and every table except one was full. Oh and bumble, LOVE the new shirts! Thanks AA for cooking, it was awesome.

...earthmomma and i had to play dodgeball when the football got away from the kids and came sailing past us...

and sitting at the table with me there was one very big kid that was having fun with a water gun...lol

Hubby, my lil man, and me had a wonderful time.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been spending most of my time with hubby since he ships to basic soon.

Thank you AA and Bumble for the food and arranging such an awesome meet.

As to the person that said there were only about 20 people there, whomever that was, needs to brush up on math. Just from memory there were at least 35-40 people there (including my family). At that's an estimate. The kids were running around so much, that I'm not really sure just how many there were besides my lil man. hehe

It was an awesome day, despite the icky weather. Thanks everyone, and it was awesome meeting those that I hadn't gotten to meet before then.

Can't wait for the next one.
