Noel Webster is going to sue him.. he stabbed the Swampers in the back and trademarked "Muscle Shoal Sound" to try and scab money from something he had nothing to do with... "the Shoals Sound" is a variation of his trademark and violates his ownership rights.. mark my words.. when he finds out about this your nephew will have 2 choices.. pay for use of the name or shut it down.. no, I'm not joking..

Neat site patriot. I want to start seeing more music coming to this area. My favorite band comes no closer than Atlanta. Bummer.

i think its a great idea, it is like a one stop information center for local music lovers, i really feel like it will be a hit, the restaurants, lounges, etc. have embraced this idea, lets wish him luck in this venture, and unlike my friend above stated, its not about the money, there's very little of that, Jeremy just loves local music and is a computer programmer by trade so it just sort of came together.

It is a nice site.. but like I said.. you will see what happens when Noel finds out about it.. your lawyers apparently didn't dig deep enough.. ask them what happens when you infringe on somebodies trademark.. "The shoals sound" is a variation and play on "Muscle Shoals Sound" and will qualify is an infringement on a registered trademark.. this dude has a long history of suing anybody and everybody about this stuff when he sees some money to be gleaned.. He will own that website.. so go ahead and build it up for him... the best thing you could do would be to confront him with it before he finds out and try to get his permission to have it.. and if you can pull that off, and I don't think you will.. get the agreement notarized at a minimum.. or you can just wait the the subpoena.. He is currently in the process of lawsuits against Cypress Moon Studios, FAME and the Marriott for the Swampers lounge.. he'll add this website to it.. mark my words.

Your nephew does nice work, I would be interested in hiring him to do a website for me if he's interested in making some extra cash.. PM me and let me know if he's interested and how I may contact him...

yeah, things are coming together with the site. We do have BigTons of events listed on the events calendar, and we have audio/video from some local bands too.

Nice website.....but I think the entertainment thread would have been more appropriate.

I don't know, something new and good for this area is probably news worthy.
