No deal Jimmy. The citizens of Florence are sick and tired of you and all of the shysters and hustlers around here abusing them. Since you have 100K (at least) then pay that, it's a good start on the 600K you still owe. Since you have money why aren't you already paying? It is unethical not to, just as it would be unethical of the Florence City Council to "settle" for an "offer." This ain't a negotiation. it's a demand for payment, in full. I know the "mayor" is in your corner because he has not lifted a finger to try to represent the people he was elected to represent by demanding you come clean and pay up. That makes him as culpable as the past officials who entered into this sham with you. At least the council (except Sam P.) did the right thing finally by taking action. That got your attention enough to pay up in full the 155K on the other one. No way you pay without that, let's all face it and get real. Too bad for the citizens, but good for you, it was not done sooner. It would have if the "mayor" had done his duty and pounded the podium and demanded the council do something. But no, he did NOTHING, said NOTHING, and that is what we were getting, NOTHING. The council action now led to results, no denying that. So Jimmy, pay up. We now know you have money. Start paying. Anything else is unacceptable to the people of Florence who are making it abundantly clear: no deals, no offers, no settlments. Pay what you owe. Period.
