Is it just me, or have you removed the option to reply to a specific post by quoting?

Highlight and reply. But they seem to have taken most of the other features away from the bar over the top of the typing box. Emotes seem to be the only thing left.
"The quote and edit functions have been removed from those areas which prominently displayed objectionable pictures which caused problems and possibly invited lawsuits. Those responsible can take full credit. In my classroom, I would have done exactly what TD did even if I am unhappy with their actions."

I've noticed that the threads with the modified pictures are still up. Wonder why those posts have not been removed? Isn't it possible to delete someone's post and not the entire thread? If not, I think the entire thread should be deleted. Also, the hate spewing thread "just one thing before I go" is still up, I think it should be deleted.
Depends on what you consider an attack as well. Bill Gray would take that statement as a compliment. Disagreeing with someone is not an attack.

Quoting helped to not have to read the entire thread to know what someone was responding too. It is very annoying to have to scan a whole thread to just understand what someone is responding to.

It was also proof when someone tried to edit their post after they had said something they shouldn't say trying to make it look like they were innocent when they were the one that was instigating the fight. There were several that used to do that.

I think it is unfair to punish the forum though. Delete the person's account. If they Required more verification of who they are like a phone number, an address, a credit card number or something besides just an email verification then it would be easier to permanently ban someone because that is what they do, create an email address and start over. If they based it on a credit card number, it would limit how many times someone could legitimately have an identity. I doubt anyone has 20 or 30 valid credit cards. I only have 1.
Funny, WH, you have only 19 posts so you are just as new as I am. I'm sorry if you have a problem with a rookie posting, but I'm sure you will get over it. As I stated in an earlier post, I have been reading for a long time, but until this round of bannings, I didn't feel comfortable posting because of all the drama and attacks. It's not hard to figure this place out though. You just never know who is truly friend or foe. I've been reading since the Mr. WIlson at Brooks situation started on here.
