Although the cartoonist is a bit left of center, I like his work. I would interpret the sign to mean that if religion is considered faith on earth, in heaven, there is the reality of God. No reason to argue or attempt to interpret God's will -- its there for all to see.
Of course, even in the Lord's perfection, hubris may still exist. Supposedly, a number of the heavenly host thought they could do better -- now exist apart from His presence.
Without Mormons, Catholics, and Amish to kick around, that, to some, may be like spending eternity in hell.
To me, there are two ways to interpret the cartoon.
1. Some people feel that the world would be a better place if religion didn't exist.
Look at all of the religion-based conflicts that have occurred throughout history.
2. This is just my opinion. If a God does exist, then He/She/It doesn't really care what religion you claim. A God that gives the world Jesus, can also give the world Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, Atheism/ Agnosticism so on and so forth. It doesn't really matter as long as a person lives his/her life right. Faith is supposed to bring you closer to your fellow man. If it doesn't then you're doing something wrong.

Still with the childish responses. So we can't have a cordial discussion in the religion forum?
