I can't even pretend to care what his ex-wife says. Asking for an open marriage suggests he wanted to be truthful about it. I don't know why he couldn't do like the rest of them, and just sneak around, and get someone else to claim they fathered his child by his ho while his wife was campaigning for him AND actually dying from cancer. What a world you democrits live in.

I suppose his behavior is of negligible significance to atheists, since in your scheme of things, humans are just another species of animal and are merely the creatures of their hormones and instincts.

What does being an atheist have to do with anything? Are you actually suggesting that you "christians" aren't running around with anything that breathes? Explain that. Why do you care what gingrich does? Are you voting for him? I'm not, never intended to. I don't care who they're "banging" if they can fix the mess the country is in on their "off time". Why don't you show this "outrage" against the democrits that are messing around? If you did ban them because of this kind of thing you wouldn't have a candidate to run. If he had asked first, then yes, but he had been having an affair with Callista for years before his wife ever found out, and his asking for an open marriage was less of an admission of truth and more of an ultimatum: "I'm not willing to stop this affair, so just tolerate it or we're getting divorced."

 

That said, we knew all of this already about the end of Newt's second marriage.  So his ex-wife coming forward now is more of a publicity stunt/political hit job than an actual news story.  I guess she's still bitter.

Republicans love to bring up John Edwards whenever there's any talk of a sex scandal involving a Republican, but the important difference here is that John Edwards' political career was over the second that story broke.  Gingrich ran around on his wife too and yet is still considered a viable candidate for president by the party that purportedly cares more about traditional family values.  Go figure.

Best, maybe the democrats would have gotten Teddy to drive the Ex to the ABC studio, oh yea, just because he's regestered to vote in Chicago doesn't mean he's above ground and still driving.

 

In the last 70 years Harry Truman and Jimmy Carter are the only democrats that haven't had any skeletons come out of the closet and age may have helped Harry and I'm not sure Jimmy knew which arm it was under...

It's got nothing to do with "loving to bring it up", and if you will notice it was contendah that did that. It has to do with the hypocrisy of the left. I'm just freaking amazed that any of you democrits would even DARE to point to anyone elses "indiscretions" when your party is overrun with them. Not only your candidates running around on their wives,  but almost any rotten thing you can think of going on. Edwards political career wasn't over due to his messing around and you know it. I told you what I thought, they can bang whoever they want as long as they do the job they were elected to do. You democrits must want us to think you care about "family values". Not due to his messing around, but definitely due to people finding out about his messing around.  Or have I missed all those elections he won since then?  Of course, he took it several steps further than Gingrich by actually fathering a child outside of wedlock then taking the highly illegal step of using campaign money to try to cover it up.

Anthony Weiner lost his job last year over some illicit photos (technically he bowed to the pressure and resigned), and he didn't even have sex with anyone.  Maybe you'll tell me that the outrage over that incident was genuine and not just playing politics, and that's fine, but turnabout's fair play.

Welcome to politics.  The point I'm making is that Newt has proven that it's the exact same for Republicans, because it sure seems like most of them are willing to give him a pass because of his R.

Newt's Ex, saw a chance to even the score a little bit more, with some help of some Democrats urging her on, you see it will kill the Democrats if they loose the White House because they won't get to steal all of the Money, the Republicans will.

getting back to Newt's Wife, have you ever seen a woman that is Divorced ever get even, she will go to her Grave trying to get even.

I figure that's the wives/husbands problem to deal with. If they can take the public humiliation and all else that goes with it, and stay with them that's their decision not mine. If they divorce them, that's their choice too. I'm not married to them so their cheating doesn't have any effect on me. I'm voting Romney. If it's found he cheated on his wife, that will be her problem, not mine. I just don't see why their personal life has to be brought into it unless it is something like drugs, murder, etc. Cheating isn't a crime and when you consider there are cheaters in every walk of life it makes me wonder why people want to use it against people in politics. You have cheating doctors but people still trust them to give them medical care, cheating lawyers but people still use them, cheating preachers and their "flock" still sits and listens to them tell them what is wrong with everybody else. And on and on it goes.

 So Best you don't care if Barrack releases his college records, his social security numbers, his birth records, his history of forfeiting his law license, his college writings, his passport records, his Muslim beliefs, or any of his other secrets because nothing in them would cause you to vote for him and I bet his supporters on this forum would still support and defend him no matter what he's hiding. And since they wouldn't vote for Newt even if the virgin Mary was on ABC-TV and declared Newt father her only child. So all this jockeying is for nil......Just like the whining about Palin just shows who the democrats fear the most, Palin was attractive so women were jealous and hen-pecked husband could only declare she was dumb, just like the best looking majorette or cheerleader, since intelligents aren't visual and beauty is then jealous people claim the pretty people are dumb.

 I can't tell you why they support a nobody that never did anything, still isn't doing anything, with joe biden of all people as the vp. I had never heard of the man, and when I said as much they were right there to toss that race card. They were worried about condi rice at one time so what did they do? A little preemptive strike-They attacked her sex life of course. Everything from her having an affair with bush to claiming she was a lesbian. But that story couldn't find it's legs so they couldn't run with it.

 

They're the ones claiming to be for the rights of all, but let them get the chance and they will "out" gay  Republicans, or their gay children, or bleat about it like the sheep they are.
