Apply for these jobs in Gainesville if you can stand the following;
- Median home price is $213,000. The Shoals is $112,000. That is median. If you want a nice place you will pay a lot more.
- One of the highest property tax rates in the state of Florida. Your taxes on a $200,000 home will be $3000+.
-Highest gasoline prices in Florida. Currently $3.20/gal. County is about to impose an additional five cents per gallon.
- You have to pay an additional 1/4% sales tax to pay for medical care for street bums. Kinda like Berkely, California.
- One of the hottest humid locations in Florida. No sea breezes like you get at the beach.
- High electricty and gas rates.
- You have to put up with rabid Gator fans.
If you can bear those things, go for it!

Speaking of jobs. My husband is looking for a good one. He's a body man right now. He fixes cars. But he's willing to do anything. He's applied all over Russellville and nobody will call him back. He's fixing to loose his job. It's going bankrupt and we can't afford for him not to have one. Anybody know any openings? Russellville, Red Bay, Muscle Shoals, or Florence?
