Slice: Not all hispanics are Mexicans! In fact, they come from 22 different countries in the world. Also you overlook a minor but important detail and that is that long before the white european arrived here to these shores, hispanics where allready here! Remember the oldest city in America? Discovered by whom? I will leave you to do your own research so that maybe you can get a clue as to your own history.

Puerto Ricans are hispanic and US citizens.

Hispanics are Spanish, creole Spanish or mestizo, or similar. Most Mexicans are mestozo.

Thus far, Sarah Palin has my vote in 2012 (if she runs).
Is it really easier to try and fabricate stories to blame the immigrants for our financial crises? Got news for ya'll, it ain't their fault, not Bush's either! You need not look any further than to your friends and neighbors (and some people can just look in the mirror) who did things like buy houses they couldn't afford, by cars they couldn't afford, people who ran up unsustainable credit card and other personal debt, and basically just people that didn't live in their means. The only part of this where Bush can take any blame is that his administration deregulated a lot of things that made it easier for people to lie about their income and assets so that they could borrow more than they could afford.
Another problem is that now that the mess has hit the fan we are continuing to run up our national debt. The only way to "fix" our economy is for our government and a majority of the people to operate within their financial means.

During the Reagan administration, the Democrats said if we gave amnesty to 3 million illegals, the border would be fixed. Well, we got amnesty, but no border fix. Don't get fooled again.

Fix the border, and I'll seriously talk amnesty, but not a sped up citizenship path.

Oh please. People can take the demographic changes but that doesn't mean we're supposed to accept illegal aliens. Let people come here through the front door (i.e. legally), but don't try to sneak in.
