Voters did not appreciate Congressman Ryan's proposed sell-out to the private health insurance industry. Voters elsewhere are not enamored of his plan for insurance "support" payments. Voters elsewhere do NOT want to be at the mercy of a private health insurance industry that can be expected to continue mercilessly escalating policy costs without any kind of oversight.
Medicare needs fixing, but not with the Ryan plan! Voters know this. Watch out in 2012, GOP. Between Ryan and the Tea Party albatross, lots of trouble is on the political horizon!
The Dems won by a fluke of an old time Dem running under a faux Tea party banner. Come the regular election, stand rules will apply.
People would rather deal with the possiblity of chosing their healthcare from the same insurance companies congress uses. Than, deal with only one government bureacracy with no choices.
Rather like the IRS, except they will be ruling whether you live or die. Not, just how much you owe. And, appeals will take months. Months after you're gone and no trouble to them.
If something isn't done soon, Medicare is going to be bankrupt. Ryan's plan would work.
beneficiaries would be allotted a certain dollar amount and the insurance companies
could compete for your plan. The Government is inefficient. Competition is the only
solution. If we don't get this fixed, like the democrats want, then they will be the ones
pushing grandma over the cliff. Yea the 26th district, wouldn't have happened without
your Democratic plant.
