Voters elsewhere do NOT want to be at the mercy of a private health insurance industry that can be expected to continue mercilessly escalating policy costs without any kind of oversight.
Medicare needs fixing, but not with the Ryan plan! Voters know this. Watch out in 2012, GOP. Between Ryan and the Tea Party albatross, lots of trouble is on the political horizon!

This stunning upset begs the question of the willingness of either the Teapublicans or the Republicans to acquiesce the elimination of their candidates for office in upcoming elections. The continued division of their vote bloc guarantees Dem victories, because, moderates always go Dem when it counts.

“There is an issue here on the budget, because your own actuary has said, you can’t double-count,” said Shimkus.
“Your own actuary says you can’t do both. So, my simple question -- I have 27 seconds left -- what’s the $500 billion in cuts for? Preserving Medicare or funding the health care law? Which is it?”
