O Charleys?

If you haven't noticed a restaurant on the corner of the busiest intersection in Florence, you might want to get some help. haha

As for the food, it's pretty good. The atmosphere is probably much better since you don't have to smell smoke from the bar, now.

The service on the other hand needed some work when we visited a few years ago. I can't say much about it now, since we've decided to never go back to O'Charley's a few years ago due to them serving me a raw chicken sandwich.

Give it try. You might like it. You never know until you go in.

They had a a good steak salad or something if I remember correctly. Nothing exceptional but not bad either.

One thing I'll say about the shoals is there are plenty of places to eat.

that's definitely the last place i choose to eat in florence as far as chains go, not that its bad, its just not that great. its pretty much standard food, nothing really stands out. well take that back, they do offer fried catfish, which ive not noticed at the others buck hell they could be there too.

I used to like to eat at O'Charley's. My mom and I went and ate there this past Veteran's Day, and that will be the last time I will ever eat at that specific O'Charley's. The food and service were both terrible. Our salad greens were orange, my baked potato was cold and had salad debris in it, and then, the steak. Gross. I ordered a petite sirloin cooked medium. It was the color of a Krystal hamburger patty, sort of light gray, cooked well done, and had a gamey taste, like it was old. I pointed it out to our server, and he said, "Yeah, our cook is new, so he doesn't really know how to cook steaks yet, hahaha".

And that was that. If they are consistently that bad, they will go out of business soon. Looked like poor management to me.

This is definetely one of my favorite places to eat as for fast food...they have wonderful chicken fingers. I've never had a bad experience with service or food. I eat there regularly. Give it a try!

Ate there Sunday for the first time ever (that location). The food was very good, but the selection/variety wasn't very good.

I probably won't need to go back anytime soon.

In my opinion the food is sorry the service reminds me of waffle house and the servers think they are entitled to a large tip.TMA eat somewhere else.Chili's Logans anywhere and if you like fried fish find a fish restaurant.Not worth the extra money.

Had a similar experience there with my family over the holidays. The staff is horrible along with the food which is over cooked. It used to be a good restaurant. I will not eat there until they change staff and management!

For my part I used to love O'Charley's but that was years ago. The changes they have made have not been for the good, in my opinion. I haven't found a reason to go back.

O'charlies used to be excellent, but since there is no smoking in Florence restaurants I dont go overthere anymore.

Go and try it yourself. There's a bunch of people here who think they are certifiable food critics that don't like anything that's a chain. You live in a small town. get over it.

Love the chain restaurants, just hate the piss poor staff..

I went there three days ago not expecting much but was sooooo pleased with everything from service to food. I hadn't been in about a year (but pass it every day) and just said what the heck I'll pop in for a quick meal. Server was funny and cheerfull, food was good and check was pretty much what I expected.

I miss the days when "working womens wednesday" was there years ago but I will go back on occassion.

if they charge over 7 bucks for an entree then they are overpriced and ill never eat there , im not into padding the pockets of greedy business people

Then tell me where you go for a nice dinner out that is under 7 bucks?
