The time when it was created is irrelevant. I am just wondering how people feel about it. Until now, I had not heard of this...I am sure there are others who have not as well. I wonder if it will be celebrated more seriously now or achieve more media attention.

June has been GLBT month much longer than 2000. Gay Pride is celebrated in the month of June because in 1969 at the Stonewall bar in New York City, a small neighborhood gay bar, the patrons had reached their limit with police harassment and FINALLY fought back. Pride events are celebrated world-wide in the month of June and this has been going on for almost 30 years.

I thought that was the case. Old Bill Gray over in Religion is intent on brainwashing everyone to believe that Obama started it all.
