I`m talking about libs in general.I remeber watching C-SPAN back when Clinton/Gore were first elected.VP Gore was touring Montechello(Hope I spelled that right)and came into a room with busts of individuals on display. So Gore asked the tour guide "who are these individuals"?And she said"This one is Washington and this one is Franklin and this one is Jefferson".The point is that when a conservative makes a mistake that person is crucified in the media. But when a liberal makes a mistake its chuckled at and brushed aside.I`m asking you libs to be intellectually honest.
Andy,

McCain flew A-1 fighters off an aircraft carrier -- dumb people die quickly trying that. I suppose you have also flown such missions or similar or, are you just a dumb old democrat?

The MSM crucified Quayle for a misspelled word. Yet, lets Hussein Obama slide on serious historic events and simple items. Can you say hypocrit?

I agree, Andy. McCain, like Bush, had connections. Yep, they forget about Jimmy Carter, John F. Kennedy, and the PT109 and an older brother who also served. But, right wingers think they are the only one's that served in the service with high ranks.

You cant dispute Kennedys greatness so you claim him as your own, I never thought of John,Bobby and Edward as Republicans but if you say they are i'll take your word for it

Now that is just foolish. Kennedy was far from a conservative. He even admitted as such an acceptance speech. But whose word are we going to take about their political leanings? The actual person or some anonymous person on a message board who wants to make one of the greatest politicians of our time appear to be in line with his views?

JFK acceptance speech.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume he doesn't know how many states there are seeing as he doesn't know how to render honors to the flag.

So either he's unpatriotic, or he's an idiot. Your typical dhimmicratic choices.

I guess he misspoke in the same way War Hero McCain didn't know who American soldiers were fighting, the Sunni, Shia, Al-Qaeda, or Iranians....

Wrong again.

You attempt to label everyone that disagrees with you in one blanket category. Not all Democrats are "liberal". Some vote moderately on issues and some vote conservatively on issues.

Your attempts to paint "all liberals" are just that--attempts.

Keep trying.

All politicians are humans first. They will all make mistakes. The biggest practitioner of "human error" is the grand, George W. Bush.

His terrible execution of the English language is overlooked by everyone, but Obama is crucified by SOME conservatives for similar things.

It works both ways geddon. You should check your party and make sure they are free from error first before you attack someone else.

And it is spelled "Monticello"....

Hypocrite?

What about McCain confusing WHO the "real enemy" is that America is fighting. He's a WAR HERO! He should know above anybody!

JOE LIEBERMAN HAD TO CORRECT HIM!

He got away with that one. And that had much more significance!
So you`re argument is its okay to castigate a conservative when they make a mistake. It`s all in good fun. But when a conservative points out the mistakes of a liberal then were practicing partisan politics and why don`t we stick to the issues.Like I said before just practice some intellectual honesty.By the way I`m not a McCain fan.He has bent over backwards for the libs for years and if he becomes president he`ll do the same. These talking points that his presidency will be 4 more years of Bush is nothing more than that.Talking points. If you ask me it`ll be more like 4 more years of Clinton.

You should read everything again.

I said ALL POLITICIANS ARE HUMANS FIRST! Meaning they all make mistakes. Meaning they SHOULDN'T BE CRITICIZED FOR HONEST MISTAKES!

I'm just pointing out the fact that you always say "lib" this and "lib" that. Why not be truthful and let's show both sides of every issue. Why not realize that the conservative side of American politics also has nutjobs, as does the left.

If you want to be fair, be fair.

I'm just pointing out the fact that you only attack "liberals" and try to fit all Democrats into this specific image and label.

It doesn't work that way....

Because those labels fail to define a person.

I am proud that I am voting Democratic in this election as well as I did in the past election and local/state elections.

Labels only generalize things and take away from value and meaning. They leave a person with no room to grow. You are literally backed in a corner by a word. What if you change your mind on an issue?

I KNOW there are nutwing lefters. I don't parade them around either. Unfortunately, Obama is not one of these. He has drawn in people that typically would not vote for him. His former pastor is crazy. But that is a different man.

Pat Robertson and his 700 club are just as crazy, maybe worse.

If we are going to attack a candidate for "misspeaking" then let's evaluate them all. They ALL have had TONS of screw-ups. Clinton, McCain, and Obama. And even before them, Guiliani, Edwards, Thompson, and Romney all said inaccurate or "misleading" things.

So it is not honest to attack one candidate and call them a "crazy lib" without recognizing and acknowledging flaws on the other side.

I am proud of my beliefs and who I vote for. So much so that I do not feel one generic label truly symbolizes everything that is stands for.
