Israel is not an ally, just a leech.  Has Israel helped pay the $3trillion that the War on Terror has cost the USA?  Was Israel part of the coalition of forces that invaded Iraq?  If not, why not?  How much of the $20trillion that the US has spent on defense in the last 40 years is the result of coddling Israel?

Let Israel solve their own conflict.  The USA gets about 10% of our crude from OPEC countries.  If we were to replace that with further purchases from Canada and South America, along with expanding US production, we could tell all the countries of the Middle East to stuff it.   We dont need to be involved with the Saudis, the Syrians or any of the other Jew-hating nations that are going to perpetuate this conflict for eternity.

Muslim brothers. As far as purchasing our oil elsewhere, the Oil market is a GLOBAL

MARKET. Regardless of where we purchase it, unless we are able to produce our own,

It will be tied to global prices.
