Barack Obama isn’t president anymore, but he still seems to want to criticize President Trump.

Since Trump has taken office, Obama has criticized him multiple times. This is a break in tradition; usually, former presidents don’t speak out about political issues or criticize new presidents.

Obama, however, apparently seems to think that his opinion just has to be heard.

Since the earliest days of Trump’s presidency, Obama has gone after the MAGA founder multiple times. Obama openly voiced concern over Trump’s travel ban and his plan to build a wall along the southern U.S.-Mexico border. He also called Trump “cruel” for his decision to end Obama’s executive orders mandating amnesty for illegal immigrant “Dreamers.”

Former first lady Michelle Obama hasn’t been quiet either, saying in September 2017, “As far as I’m concerned, any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice.”

Here are nine times that Obama has embarrassed himself by criticizthe President Trump.

Why stop precedent?  I'm sure there are past Presidents that were elected yet were inept and not up to the position of the Office but no doubt Obama fits that mold.  I don't know if there is a prerequisite, or should be, for President but given everything a President does I think Donald Trump is one of the most competent to hold the office.  Somewhere along the line Politics became professional and a peer group more than being operational and existed to serve it's own self rather than serving the people.

What concerns me is the extreme polarization that exists today as there are people that vote based solely upon party affiliation and given what happened in New York we very well could end up with a Communist or extreme Socialist as President and sitting in the executive office is not too many years down the line.  Their views may be so extreme that people would never think it was possible yet the way people vote it is possible so long as a socialist or communist candidate is the parties choice.  The question then becomes how powerful each branch of government is or can become and how effective are the checks and balances and do they work because if we ever get an extreme candidate, that is even more extreme than Obama, who used Executive orders to solidify power, then as it is now the national media will march in lockstep behind them and the whole Democratic party is so far left now that we could, as a Nation, lose freedoms and lose stability in government.
