Wrong, they are not the same.
Liberal and conservative are two different schools of political thought. Democrat and Republican are the two major political parties. I am a conservative Democrat and proud to one. There are many more and we will take our party back at some point. There are also plenty of high level LIBERAL Republicans. George W. Bush is one and do you remember Nelson Rockefeller? Extreme liberal he was.
I understand what your saying DHS but in today’s politics I see them as the same, at least on the national level.

Obama won.....so did Lance Armstrong.....winning is not always what it appears to be.
Obama has successfully addicted almost half the US population to welfare. He has effectively stripped away the survival instinct from over a hundred million Americans. He won, America lost.
