It's definitely a good location, although I think Hooters usually builds new.  I'll say it again - as saturated as Florence is with restaurants, and even if something would have to close for it to make it, I think Hooters would do killer business.  I'm not even thinking of the Hooters girls aspect of it..I'm talking about wings, food that's great and horrible for you, and draft beer.  It would be a good fit.

Hate it for the people that have jobs there. One of the best waitresses I've had in a restaurant worked there, several years ago. Unfortunately I can't remember her name. She was always friendly and attentive. As for the food... well I agree that it was better than Applebee's, or Chili's, so I'm sad to see it go before one of them.

Hopefully a local business can move into the building and be successful. Enough with the chains.

It used to be one of my favorite places when they first opened but food quality took a dive a few years ago. They changed management and food quality went up but they hired unattractive, uncaring, unpleasant wait staff and never recovered. It's a shame. O charlies is a decent chain but they just never got a good manager.

Chilli's went through the same ups and downs. They appear to be under decent management now.

My family usually eats out on the south side of the river, so I've never been to O'Charley's. Unattractive wait staff. Yes, that would be my main complaint. Seriously, if it was Hooter's I could understand your remark, but all I care about is good service and cleanliness.

Huntsville location must not have got the memo.  They built a brand new building a few years ago to replace the original Hooters, next door to it, on 72.  Although the decor is the typical hardwood, etc..it's a really nice building.

Much of Ricatoni's menu was 'borrowed' from Carrabba's, not that there's anything wrong with that.  Florence doesn't seem big enough for OG and Mac Grille.  I wish people would support Ricatoni's instead..
