I really miss "Fat Albert", DHS. I'd love to at least see re-runs. Oh well. My other favorite "cartoons" have already been listed, except one:

Speed Buggy

Man those bring back memories!! Some of my favorites were the sci-fi toons. Voltron, Jase and the Wheeled Warriors. But all time favs were some mentioned above: Grape Ape, Hong Kong Fooey, Yogi, Road Runner... beep-beep. The Acme Co must have made millions from Wil-E-Coyote, lol.
As a toonhead, these all bring back pleasant memories.

The one I liked not mentioned above was "Space Angel" - this was done in the early 1960s by the same folks that did "Clutch Cargo" (and with the same Synchro-Vox technique and five-episode cliffhanger format). Despite the very limited animation, it actually was pretty decent; much of the character designs were by Alex Toth and Doug Wildey, who later on did "Space Ghost" and "Jonny Quest," respectively (among other things).
My FAV and not a cartoon, but was featured with them during the time slots-

THE THREE STOOGES!!!! yuk-yuk-yuk!!! CERTAINLY!

Hard to top that 'un, ain't it?
Okay - I'll show my age on this one.... during the late 60's, when we got home after school Channel 15 had their own programming running. There was a cartoon that ran all the time - it was about bugs (lighting and other) jumping up and down on the keys of a typewriter. It was like they were cheering on some type of event. I don't know what the name of it was, but I loved that cartoon.

Any one else that old and remember that one?
Hey anyone remember Cousin Cliff sponsored by Jacks Hamburgers (in Bessemer or Hueytown, I think)??? He played Popeye and maybe Clutch Cargo.
Yes I Do!! I used to LOVE that show!! Watched out of a B'Ham station. Do you remember Fannie Flagg was The Weather Girl then?
I remember Fannie!!! Didn't she write "Fried Green Tomatoes"? Love that movie, it's one of those you can watch over & over again.

Forgot all about that one. Smiler
I was Cousin Cliff's biggest fan. Once, he came to Sheffield, and put on a show at the old Community Center on Nashville Ave.

He picked me to come up on stage and do a dance and pantomime with him. Y'all never saw a more thrilled 10 year old boy in your lives.
