Well, it would appear that for those of us who live on the South side of teh Tennessee Ocean, now Bradford is foaming at the mouth to insure that we have as many henderences as he can think of to delay us from getting from point A to point B.

Got a new 6 land -down to 5 lane road going in, and here he's wanting to make it a commercial street and take away any hopes of us having some way to actually get around over here,.

In the article , I did not see any sign that we would have access roads for the businesses he wantss to locate there, so I guess it'll be just like everything else here, slow, stop and go , wait 5 minutes for a stop light (that probably won't ever change just for a motorbike)..

No wonder we can't ever progress. We didn't see Huntsville wanting to put that kind of barrier when they built I565 connecting Decatur and the Eastt side of Huntsville Hwy 72.

Do we have no people of vision in this area ?

The first time I drove across the newly completed section of Wilson Dam road, after passing TVA land it seemed like traffic was pulling off and pulling onto the new 7 lane road every 50 feet, I knew a mistake had been made in not requiring access roads. This road was supposed to be a high speed quick way to get from highway alternate 72 in colbert county to highway 72 in Florence. It has already proven to be just the opposite, consuming more time than using Woodward Av. The state dept. of transportation can by law correct this as they are the only ones who can allow access onto and off of a state highway. The state should tell Muscle Shoals right now, no new access to wilson dam road, other words, no new construction on either side of wilson dam road unless it has a back entry. This was supposed to be a bypass highway for muscle shoals which means a way to avoid traffic instead of helping muscle shoals increase traffic.

Gotta agree. Whoever designed that road and bridge accesses is not a very smart engineer. Don't know if he works for the state or the county or city, but he is one dummy.

I still think that there is somebody around here in Florence or MS that gets kickbacks from the sale of redlights.
