She's all washed up, finished, taboo and unemployable, Kathy Griffin not Roseanne, yet even after the deplorable and deliberate actions of Kathy Griffin she is accepted back yet again, and celebrated, even though she pulled her apology to Trump for her actions and is proud of them. Contrast Hollywood's approach to Roseanne where, for the most part, she was terminated, banished, and even reruns canceled or it seems the desire is for that to happen and her mistake was being favorable toward Donald Trump in an ever-growing politically hostile world.
Other's such as Michelle Wolf's vulgar tirade/act against anything or anyone Trump supporting, at the White House correspondents dinner or Samantha Bee's vulgar, pre-practiced and rehearsed attacks or Robert DeNiro's actions are quickly dismissed as free speech or even critical analysis and "in good fun" verses calls for the "death penalty" of one's career for no more than being Trump friendly or Trump neutral in a totally unhinged liberal world.
There is no diversity any longer there is polarization and isolation. Forgiveness and absolution and restitution reside only on one side of the fence/isle and on the other is the mandatory capital punishment of careers and reputations. Then to cement and confirm it, to solidify it in stone the media takes their measure of flesh.
Roseanne may one day find another path back into the entertainment arena but it will be at a price if at all. The path and road is so much easier for Hollywood liberals than it is for anyone pro or neutral Trump these days. I don't anticipate things changing either as the derangement is only greater every victory Trump has and he's been on a string of them giving plenty of fuel to the unhinged left.
It's as Reagan stated when talking about his relationship with a highly biased media. Reagan stated "if I was to walk on water the next morning's headlines would read "Reagan cannot swim". Trump has a far more polarized and negatively biased media against him, more than Reagan ever knew.
