Dude who wrote that article said:

"Every time they attack her, mock her or belittle her, she only gets more popular."

Dude is wrong.

Her ratings have slid quite a few points in just the last 2 or 3 weeks, during a period when she had a lot of opportunity to expose her dingbattitude in the media.

Dude probably didn't know that, since the latest poll ratings (Washington Post/ABC)just came out in the last day or two.

Dude probably wishes he had paid attention to the polls.

Eatcha hearts out, you betcha:

"(Newser) – An overwhelming number of Americans are seriously ticked off at their government but that anger isn't driving them into the arms of Sarah Palin, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll. A full 71% of voters—including a majority of Republicans—feel that Palin is unqualified to be president. Only 37% have favorable views of Palin, the poll found."

And even more grief for the Palinistas:

I believe I will continue my sophisticated critiques of the Wingnut Wacko of Wasilla. It could be possible that I am getting a message out that in some small way helps grease that downhill slide of Sadie Palin's popularity. We all should do our part as patriotic Americans to protect the Ship of State from this buccaneering babe! I am crankin' up my belittler and my mockatron to full power!

U-M-M-M, that was a tasty lunch!

Why worry with subject matter?

The libs only look petty every time they attack Sarah. She's not even in any OFFICE now and they still hound her. Don't you think that shows mental defect on their part?

The Wacko Wingnut of Wasilla is not in any office, but she has become an excessively prominent public figure. There are so many duped, misinformed, gullible, hard-core right wingnuts who actually believe that this ninny is fit to hold high national office that it is imperative that those of us who remain sane and stable do what we can to counter such insanity. Truly, we need to be active in educating these duped sheeple. And yes, it is a foreboding task, but we patriots can hardly stand back and do nothing while our fellow citizens are led into darkness and ignorance. Let the light of truth shine, even at risk that it might shine in the darkness and the darkness might comprehend it not. Courage.

Really?

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone gives Ms Palin the time of day. And if you wish to believe that I've never done any actual work and don't possess any skills then you go right ahead. Both myself and God will know that you're wrong on both counts.

I would have refined elinterventor01's statement to say, "It seems that most of her detractors are elitists." So, feel properly included now?

I don't really support Palin for an office, yet all the vitriol does intrigue me. The fact that she does attract all the fusillades of negative attacks from people I either dislike, or disagree with tends to create admiration that might not even be there if her detractors weren't clucking like a bunch of disturbed chickens. So keep cackling... Wink

Really? The liberal Democrats sure are "stirred up" bt her and her 'rhetoric'.

More like: disturbed by the irrationality of those who have embraced Palin as offering any kind of a solution to any of the nation's problems. It is truly alarming for rational participants in the body politic to witness the undeserved influence and inexplicable popularity accorded to this demonstrably incompetent, unbelievably misinformed political tyro.

Yet you constantly attack her and her children and her neighbors, and her hairderesser, and her brother's barber's baker. Not a normal reaction to the fact that you claim to be disturbed by the "irrationality" of those who have embraced her...

You entirely misread the circumstances. I have said practically nothing about her family and nothing about her neighbors(DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THEY ARE!!), let alone her hairderesser"[sic].
My focus has been upon the creature herself, in hope (alas, mostly vain) that I might be able to wake up just a few of those poor deluded souls who have so incredibly overestimated her and who are casting so much of their hope upon her and thus facing, ultimately, disillusionment and despair when it becomes evident, even to them, that they are truly leaning upon a broken reed.

Thus is my service to humanity, to America, and to survival and progress and I bend gladly to the task, intimidating though it may be! As a patriot, I can do no less.

WRONG.

Palin In-law off to jail

Sadie Palin's un-Son-in-Law

And let's not forget YOU posted the link that included this joke...
quote:
"You know who was in town this weekend, went to a Yankee game? Sarah Palin ... One awkward moment, though, during the game. Maybe you heard about it, maybe you saw it on one of the highlight reels, one awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game. During the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."

And YOU posted the link that included THIS joke:
quote:
"Sarah Palin made a speech in Alaska and she said that the money the federal government is sending to states to help bail out, well that's not good, because that's the federal government getting in there and trying to 'control people.' Yes that's right, Sarah, it's all about the Federal Reserve making your daughter use a condom."

NOT wrong! I did not claim NEVER to have posted anything about her family. I made it clear that
the predominant object of my many, many posts on Palin was Palin herself. You have now undertaken an extensive little research project and come up with a few scattered posts that you submit as "evidence" to the contrary. Well, that will not work. If you really wish to be objective about the matter, then go back to your research and tally my "Sarah-only" posts versus the tiny number that extend to her family and you will have a very top-heavy fraction when you finish.

Nice try, but you blew that one.

Try to dodge all you want. It doesn't change the fact that you have posted about her children, in-laws and posted links making jokes of her unwed daughter. If it makes you feel better to say "but most of my posts were about her" then THAT says a lot about you.

If I posted 199 posts about other topics, then posted one with MULTIPLE racist images, that could still make people think I am racist.

The fact is YOU posted a link to the following two jokes:

"You know who was in town this weekend, went to a Yankee game? Sarah Palin ... One awkward moment, though, during the game. Maybe you heard about it, maybe you saw it on one of the highlight reels, one awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game. Way to go, beter!! You're looking classy now! I never said that's all you posted. But you posted the above garbage and now want to just dismiss/ignore it. Sorry, this is not cnn or MSNBC, which will just ignore wild-eyed liberal hypocrisy.
