Anyone who's even halfway paying attention knows this. I put him/her/it on ignore a while back, because he/she/it has nothing constructive to say, well, ever.

And now you're being just as incessantly annoying. In the name of "truth", naturally. Roll Eyes
Osaka has GREAT food..but their service sucks...the girl that's always in charge owns the place with her husband. She is very hateful They also own the Hibatchi Grill (serving same kind of food) in Muscle Shoals in the Harvest Buffet building, with her husband running that resturant and he is sooooooo nice...not sure what her problem is...so i just to to the one in MS, much much friendlier...
FYI MandoMama, their is another Sushi Bar and it is owned by the same people...GREAT SERVICE...AND THE FOOD IS BETTER...it is located inside the Harvest Buffet in Muscle Shoals. When you walk in the resturant, you turn all the way right and it's like a different resturant. The husband runs the store in MS and the wife runs the store in Florence..She is the RUDE one...Food and service both are GREAT Cool

I thought the place inside Harvest Buffet was much better and that hateful woman is not there. We were going to Osaka for a while but started to notice it was just nasty looking. I hope they have improved. Going to Huntsville once a week is getting expensive with the price of gas.

What is your favorite Japanese restaraunts in Huntsville?

I LOVE Osaka. we always go at night, though, so it's one of our "special evening" places. Love the food, and I think it's hilarious that they still have the great wall of china on the wall from Michael's Smiler

I noticed that the last time my husband and I ate there. I asked him was this not suppose to be Japanese food? Why the China pictures?? Wink

LOL... They probably figured why redecorate when most people don't know the difference.
We used to frequent Osaka at least once a week.

We went in one Sunday night and sat down. We decided to go somewhere else, so we get up to leave and the hostess stops us at the door and tells us that we each owe her $5 + tax just for turning on the grill.

We decide that if we're going to pay that we might as well stay and eat.

That was and will be our last time there.

If you didn't order drinks or place a food order, I think Alabama State Law would have backed you.

On "principle" alone, I would have refused and allowed them to call the cops.
