Oscar predictions

Monique deserves it more than anyone in any other category. Precious wasn't that good but she stood out.

I hated Sandra Bullocks accent in The Blind Side and it wasn't a very hard role but none of the other nominees stand out.

Christopher Waltz was great in Inglorious Bastards.

I'd give best picture to Hurt Locker because it had a original story. Best director to Cameron for Dances with Blue People.

I haven't seen is Crazy Heart.

Haven't seen "Precious" yet - I hear it is a hard film to watch.

I don't really think Sandra Bullock deserves Best Actress either. Meryl Streep should win but I'd put my money on Bullock because she has won the majority of the pre-Oscar awards.

I've seen 5 of the Best Picture nominees ("The Hurt Locker", "Avatar", "The Blind Side", "Inglorious Basterds", "District 9"). My favorite was "The Hurt Locker" with "District 9" coming in a close 2nd.
