This isn't the first time and it won't be the last. Peanut would be at a home with supervision but it would mean his mom wouldn't get that check every month.

Just a thought. How many of us would pitch in a dollar or two for a "make peanuts day fund?" Someone with better organizing skills than me would have to set it up, but I will be happy to contribute. If everyone on here who knows Peanut gave a dollar,Peanut would have a pretty good payday.

I am in. My suggestion would be Mr. Lentz's VFD or a local bank. Just tell me where to take the money. The reason I say the VFD is because from what I gather, Lentz is a stand up guy who deserves the opportunity to make this impact in his life.

Thanks for the information. I'll go tomorrow. I urge everyone else to help him.
Bank Independant has set up a fund to help Peanut. You may go to any Bank Independant to make your donations. Donations can be made to the Stephen "Peanut" Michael benefit fund at your local Bank Independant.

You obviously don't know this family. His mother is the sweetest, caring person you could know and it would kill Peanut to be shut in the house all the time.

Is Peanut the sweet guy who sometimes sits on the bench in front of Foodland-Tuscumbia?
I pray they find those responsible for hurting him.

It was bound to happen sooner or later.
Everyone is all shocked "aww who would do such a thing?"
How old is Peanut? 30 something? 40 something? He is blessed he has made it this long without being severely hurt. He runs all over north alabama verbally assaulting people, asking for rides, begging for money and groping women. We live in a DANGEROUS DANGEROUS society. I don't care if it is small town Alabama. It was bound to happen sooner or later the way he runs wild all over the area.
