This city is an absolute train wreck. Days like this I really miss the Shoals.

No wonder there are headlights as far as the eye can see leaving this place at 5:00. What a mess.

Unbelieveable video of the melee (fans, player, cops). Link

May those that love us, love us. For those that don’t love us, may God turn their hearts. And if he doesn’t turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles, so we’ll know them by their limping.

Blackacre, you are right. It is a mess!! I have friends and family in Montgomery and the things they have witnessed and told me about made me sick. I feel fortunate to be in the Shoals.

You would not believe the shift we are seeing down here. We are seeing exponential growth northward into Elmore and Autauga counties. It's a shame really because so much of what you do professionally is here in town.

I am liking Prattville though...It's close enough to see the skyline but far away not to have to hear all the annoying gunfire.

Your friends are right, by the way. Some of the stories I could tell...

I'm sad for the decent people who because of their profession and business interests are trapped in Montgomery at least temporarily. A couple of the families have school age children and that alone would be a nightmare. One of my friends is in home health care and has to go to some bad neighborhoods to check on her patients. She carries a pistol at all times !! Frowner

that's not enough. for valley the season is already over. for carver (if the ahsaa doesn't make them forfeit too) will only have a maximum of 3 games left. sanctions need to impact next season. no postseason for both next season would be a good start.
So now I have to pick the fighting or non-fighting seating. Which tickets are cheaper?

The reason that kid's pants fell is because he was wearing them too low. It is one of my pet peeves. My son asked me once what would happen if he wore his pants that way. I demonstrated what would happen and we haven't had that discussion again. It is way past time parents took up the job of parenting again.
