Also, who knows how any of us would react if we had foster kids that we cared for and you know were treated improperly by their own parents and you walk up on a teacher yelling at one of them after all the work you had gone through to bring them out of their shell. There are always two sides...although I would never condone violence.

Did you read the article? It didn't say he walked up on the coach while he was yelling at his foster child. It said the attack occurred in the hallway in front of the Rogers High School main office as he was checking his daughter into school. He claims he was going to talk with the coach & when he approached him, the coach made a threatening move toward him. Yes, there is always two sides & evidently the recorded tape proves that the coach didn't make an offensive move toward Jenkins. I thnk they should make that tape public.
I can remember being in PE & kids got yelled at all the time for not running fast enough, not trying hard enough, etc. None of us thought anything about it. It was just something the PE teacher or coach did.
You know people that know him but none of them defended him? It's possible that since Alabama is so strapped for foster parents, the agency doesn't care if he's a bully or not. Hopefully, those foster kids will be removed asap. You say you don't condone violence, but you're defending Jenkins?
