Thanks for your post Christopher. I was actually trying to decide who to vote for and you absolutely helped me make my mind up. With personal attacks like this I assure you that YOU ALONE have secured my vote next week for PARKER GRIFFITH!

That's one vote you have effected, maybe two cause my wife usually listens to me and votes along with me so congratulations. TWO votes FOR Parker Griffith solely because of you. I suppose if you look at it this way. I was leaning toward voting against Parker because I didn't like one of his ads so that would have been two votes against Parker which you have single handily secured for Parker Griffith so would that be a net of 4 votes for Parker since it was likely to be two against but now it's two for.

Your a great campaigner! Hey do me a favor .. Please ... Please ... Please ... Make more videos and Champagne for the DEMOCRATS come November.
Ok just my Honest Opinion, I really think MR Griffith should have finished his Term or Droped out and when the Next Election came up run for what ever Party he wanted to,, I feel he used the People to get Elected and then changed Partys. I hate to have to Vote as in this election, for some I want on one side and not be able to vote for others. I feel if we could cross the party lines and vote for the ones who we feel do the best JOB, our State would be much better off. what would it take to make that happen ? Please ! Alabama!
The party switch after the election was one factor that was leaning me against Mr. Griffith until Christopher Donnell came in with his comment and thread and pushed me solidly over the line toward Griffith again.

I voted for Griffith last election (yes I voted Democrat) and mostly due to the personal degrading personal attacks that Griffith Parker or whoever the Republican running ran. I hate dirty personal attacks enough to vote on that alone IF there is not anything more important or pressing to consider and with the candidates running then, and now, there isn't, at least to me.

I don't know why Parker switched but I had switched also, due to Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the other Democrats in congress and their actions this term so how I see it is this. Parker Griffith got up there, without knowing just who was running the party, and got disenfranchised really fast seeing a party (Democrats) that he thought he knew from past years doing things that was not only unconstitutional but against his personal morals and convictions. I assume that forces were being put on him by his Democratic comrades and putting him in a very uncomfortable position with regards to voting for the healthcare bill and others and I think he made a personal decision to switch parties based upon those things. Is that true? I don't know and I can't say I've heard it said why exactly but I do respect his decision because it really doesn't matter when he did it if he wasn't going to vote with them anyway and he did make the move to, at that time, the Republican party that was out of vogue and not in favor with the public. Only after what everyone saw the Democrats do with the power we gave them did folks, like myself, start switching in droves fearing what damage to freedom they would do.
This post has nothing to do with me not voting for Parker Griffith . He did that to himself . He started out telling lies , so why should we think he is going to be any different , a Bud Cramer he is not , not even close .

I will not be voting for this self proclaimed lier , no matter what anyone on here says , this forum is not important enough to sway a vote .
Senator Richard Shelby did this exact same thing, elected as a Democrat, then crossed the aisle and served as a Republican, and continues to be re-elected as a Republican. The lesson here is if you wake up and discover you are some where you don't belong...get out of there.

I decided the very day Dr. Parker Griffith announced his intention to leave the party of Pelosi he would have my vote and support.
I completely agree about crossing the party lines and voting based on who we think is the best candidate. I wish more people felt this way.

That video appears to be from the Democrats who are bitter because Griffith bolted the party fearing that he would lose the election. He bolted only after taking a poll that showed that he would lose the election. If Griffith was a true conservative he would not have voted with the liberals 85% of the time and would have voted as a blue dog democrat or switched parties much earlier.
Don't throw your vote away just because of this negative democratic ad. They have a right to be bitter after he left with all of the money contributed by Pelosi and others
Parker Griffith, himself,is running two of the most negative ads on TV with untrue inferences against Mo Brooks. The theory is that if you hear and see the ad often enough, you will start to believe it.
Griffiths two Republican opponents deserve credit for running clean campaigns. Mo Brooks in particular must find it difficult to restrain himself after seeing the anti-Mo ads 20 or 30 times a day.
So, if you vote in the Republican primary, you have two much better choices who are loyal Americans and true conservatives.

Nope ... I voted for Bentley AND I voted for Parker Griffith (as did my wife). I still think he would have made an excellent representative but enough felt he wouldn't so I feel for him but that's politics. Come November I'll be voting for Mo and most likely won't think a bit, again, about Mr. Griffith. I'm sure he's well taken care of for the rest of his life, most of them are. Hey if losing my vote (in the primary) means that the strongest candidate wins and is most likely to keep the seat Republican then I'll take that any day. I don't know that I could have voted for James, just didn't trust him enough .. don't know him but just felt Bentley came over as more believable.

After November ( and hopefully taking back the House & Senate ) I'm off to Support Gingrich in 2012.

So glad that you voted for Griffith. How'd that work out for ya?

I supported and voted for Parker Griffith because he demonstrated, in my contacts with him, that he DID know that the Shoals is part of his constituency and Mo neither knows nor cares.

When I was young and made a bad trade, my dad would say, "son, you swapped a turkey for a jay bird..." Enjoy your jay bird and good luck getting him elected.
