I agree with the statement in which the church's Deacon Miles Langley said, "We cannot have a pastor praising the world one minute then praising the Lord the next. Period."

But does hypocrisy not go on in churches & with "Christian" people daily? Evidently this Pastor wasn't trying to hide anything from anyone.

I don't get why anyone would want to attend a Lil' Wayne concert & most especially a man claiming to be a Christian & is a Pastor. If this man was warned nine months previously about attending these concerts & he did it again anyway, seems he was thumbing his nose at the rules of the church. He needed to be fired. But then again, the word is Hypocrite.

I have never said all Christians were hypocrite's though I do believe the majority are. Why bother? That should be simple enough for you to answer yourself. He should have been fired because he went against the rules of his church. By attending the concerts he was attending, (lil' Wayne?) he was not putting forth a Christian image, especially for a Pastor. In other words, he was being a hypocrite. Is that a good image for any church in which the person being a hypocrite is a Pastor? (some Pastor's hide their real image, he didn't)

I don't understand why it doesn't make any sense to you.

Even your Bible says more are going to Hell than to Heaven, do you think that would exclude "Christians"?

Did you notice where I said the Pastor was thumbing his nose at the rules of the church, that he needed to be fired, & my calling him a hypocrite?

If it sounded like I was accusing the church of hypocrisy, that was not my intention & I apologize.

No, it's not just the Atheist & anyone that says it is, is crazy! I know "Christian" parents that let their angels attend these concerts on Saturday nights, but the family is up & in church on Sunday morning.

Lil' Wayne is one of the worse/nasty rappers out there, but his concerts are always sold out.

Well, when people point out the bad effects of music they usually point at the rappers, and I have to agree that most of it, well all i've heard anyway, is crap. But, there is crap and bad messages in all music categories today. This one says, "he may be a piece of crap, but he was my piece of crap and see what I did when he cheated". Then people sit back and wonder what the (&%^ is wrong with people today.

"Before He Cheats"

Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleached-blond tramp,
and she's probably getting frisky...
right now, he's probably buying her some fruity little drink
'cause she can't shoot whiskey...
Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool stick,
showing her how to shoot a combo...

And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side
of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats...
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.
