but no friend of the middle class!

Paul Ryan--the darling of the right wing budget hawks, has a "roadmap for reforming the tax system. "The Ryan Roadmap raises taxes on Americans making between $20,000 and $200,000 while slashing taxes in half for the wealthiest Americans."

This is the Republican who will deliver the response to the President's State of the Union Address. Read about what he wants to do to you!

Will Ryan descend a spiral staircase in the manner of Bobby Jindal (last year's catastrophic and embarrassing spokesmen for the GOP)? Will the networks that cover his speech let their viewers know what this friend of the filthy rich is up to with his regressive "roadmap"? MSNBC maybe and CNN--but will Fox report THAT and let YOU decide whether you like it or not? An anxious nation awaits!

Why don't YOU watch and see?

You miss the point. I did not question whether Fox would cover the State of the Union address. I questioned whether they would "let their viewers know what this friend of the filthy rich is up to with his regressive roadmap.'" There is a big difference.

The CBO even likes his plan.

WRONG. The CBO has made some projections based on what Ryan's plan would do. That does not mean that they "like it." The CBO does not express disfavor or approval for particular alternatives. Their job is to analyze and provide information, not to bring judgment. That is left to the Congress. From the CBO's web pages:

"CBO assists the House and Senate Budget Committees, and the Congress more generally, by preparing reports and analyses. In accordance with the CBO's mandate to provide objective and impartial analysis, CBO's reports contain no policy recommendations."
