Dr. Lentz in the Pediatic office on Cox Creek is real good, thats where my 2 yr old grandson goes. Her office is great and child friendly, i wish they had dentist like that when i was a kid, she is however out spoken, and she is also a dental surgeon. Her office is beside that big Methodist church close to the Kangaroo on Cox Creek, i think its called Shoals Pediatric.
Dr. Lentz is wonderful! She is my 2 1/2 year old daughters dentist. The office is very inviting and the staff is wonderful. It is Shoals Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Merrit in Florence. He shows movies to the children while they are cleaning their teeth. The kids relax and listen to headsets. Nice, friendly, helpful staff.
Dr. Lentz's office has tvs in the ceilings over the kids chairs. I wish the tv was in the ceiling at my doctor then maybe I could see it while they clean my teeth! Dr.McClanahan is wonderful as well. He is my sister in laws dentist. She is 10.
i spent a lot of time searching for a ped dentist. my daughter needed surgery. the dentist i went to first postponed her surgery due to arthritis acting up. after three months of this, i went to dr lentz. her staff was exceptionally nice, but i did not care for her bedside manner with my child and the method of insurance filing they used, which left me paying 4000 up front, and getting reimbursed. she also cancelled our first date and her next open appt for surgery was 4 months out, and i was afraid waiting that long would affect my daughters ability to eat/speak. i was ready to give up. went to dr merritt. his staff was awesome. his billing clerk, ginger, was amazing, called the insurance companies and made arrangements for my daughters surgery. he walked us through the steps before and met with us after her dental surgery to discuss everything in detail. he took pictures with great before/after pics of the procedure. the hygenists also did a wonderful job consoling my daughter when she first went for a cleaning. they worked with her until she was comfortable. most of the time his office is packed, but its because he does great work. without him, our daughter would not have her bottom teeth. they also send out email reminders, bday cards, little tips on keeping your teeth clean for the kids.
