The shower actually peaked in the wee hours of August 12-13th but should still be a decent show the night between the 14th and 15th (weather permitting).
I have a special memory of my late mother thanks to this event. In '91 or '92, my mom and I basically camped out on the driveway and watched the show. I was in my mid-30s and she was pushing 60, but that night both of us were like children, saying 'wow' and 'look at that'. So if it's clear tonight go out after midnight, enjoy the show alone or make some memories with your kids (or your parents!)
