Hi Joy,

Neither of us is wrong; just taking different paths toward the same goal. You imply that Jesus only told us to love others.

I feel that He told us to Go, Disciple, Baptize, TEACH -- yet, in love. I believe I do this. If you feel that I am not showing Christian love; please do me the Christian favor of telling when I have done this.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Max,

Not true. I believe ALL Christians should be baptized. Jesus Christ left us two ordinances: Baptism and Communion.

What I have said, and what the Bible teaches -- is that a person is not saved through baptism. First comes salvation -- by grace, through faith -- plus NOTHING else. Then, comes baptism as our act of obedience in following Him in baptism.

Yes, baptism is necessary. No, baptism cannot save anyone and is not part of being saved.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

I'm so LMAO. When was not not?

Hi Deep,

I am not sure if others have noticed; but, you are the perfect playground agitator. You seldom post anything of significance. Yet, you are the first to jump into a discussion with barbs such as this -- in an attempt to urge an argument between others.

My Friend, why not try adding something to the discussions -- and quit being just a sideline agitator?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Bill, you have said many times before that baptism is just an outward expression to show the world you are a believer, not a necessary act.

You have called it 'works'. You have said sprinkling or dunking doesn't matter. You have said if you die and are not baptized but are 'saved' it doesn't matter.

So which do you believe, you must be baptized, you should be baptized, or it doesn't matter?
