If anyone of us, on the forum, were in a situation where we were driving down the road and someone, driving a similar type vehicle passed us up at a high rate of speed and say caused an accident in front of us in which someone died and a Police Office or Highway Patrol Officer came driving up behind us and pulled us over and then said he pulled us over for causing the accident. Say also that there was five other vehicles diving along with and riding along with the guilty vehicle and they then pulled over and stopped and began giving information to the officer. The officer then began to put you under arrest for causing the accident.
You would plead your case with all kinds of urgency but it was to no affect and the officer had placed you in the back of his patrol car. How would you feel knowing that friends of the actual guilty party were the only ones giving the officer information about the accident? Say now you are scheduled for a court date and you find out that the Judge and all of the jury, that will decide your case, are relatives or friends of the actual guilty party. Would you not fight tooth and nail to get a new trial based upon potential bias of the Judge and the tainted jury? You would talk to anyone that would listen and you would seek to have a new judge hear the case. You would seek to disqualify all the witnesses that stopped initially to tell the officer what had happened and you would be very insistent upon having a fair trial and a fair judge, wouldn't you?
This is all hypothetical and maybe a little over estimated but Donald Trump was essentially in a similar situation with Robert Muller and his investigation. You have someone that knows that they are innocent yet everyone that is on the investigation is proven, circumstantially, to be biased against you and every one of the witnesses against you are the opponents supporters, friends, and/or donors to your opposition or the actual guilty party.
It's not any wonder that Donald Trump, sensing a highly biased investigation team loaded totally, (that's 100%) with donors to Hillary Clinton, his Democratic Opponent and the person he defeated, would seek to have another person appointed to run the investigation. If someone loaded the deck against you and picked only witnesses and jury members that were friends with the person that actually did the crime and appointed only those who were seeking to frame you to the jury then you would surely believe that the judge was entirely biased and not impartial.
Trump didn't have Muller fired but I, or anyone that knows the circumstances surely can understand Trump's concern and suspicion that there was a biased person leading the investigation against him. In my hypothetical situation you (or I)( would be at risk of losing their freedom, their job, being incarcerated for something you knew you were innocent of and that you were in a situation where people with a vested interest and friendship with the actual guilty person were in a situation to protect their friend and blame you.
Democrats, liberals, Trump Haters, and those who detest Trump, including Never Trump Republicans, all are seeking to convict the President of Obstruction and impeach him for just attempting to seek a new prosecutor other than the one who chose, for his team, 100% a total number of biased individuals who all were seeking his guilt and to remove him from Office. Trump just wanted to insure, if he could, that there was impartiality in the investigation rather than extreme bias and prejudice against him and for that he is said to be obstructing an investigation that contained no impartial actors or participants or even anyone that was not a donor or friend to his political enemies and opponents.
I don't blame Trump for seeking to replace/fire Muller and a different set of investigators, I would have done the exact same thing myself. It would be like having the lead investigator hiring only reporters and editors from CNN and MSNBC to judge and investigate Trump.
On the other hand you have Hillary Clinton who was given a get out of jail card free by Comey, was allowed to delete requested emails to the number of 30,000 + emails that Hillary Herself was allowed to judge whether they were relevant or not and to then delete them, which she did in a way that there was no way they could be recovered. She was allowed to totally destroy hard drives, storage units, memory sticks, phones, and other devices that had information on them all without ever allowing the FBI or others to view them. She was also allowed to testify before the FBI with investigators who were friendly toward her, allowing her to have her own friend and Represenative present during her questioning and also NOT placed under oath. Now who was the one Obstructing Justice?
