Let's start a thread listing stores where you had a pleasant shopping experience during the last 3 days before your post. No story --no extra words. Just do it this way-- FRED's in Muscle Shoals KISS

I am an essentially flawed individual who nevertheless does the right thing enough of the time.

Maybe not many folks went shopping over the Labor Day Weekend which would have been the last 3 days.

Hopefully, it will pick up. If not, you city folks can come to the Lawrence County Co-Op for friendly service whether you need something or not. Actually, I could make quiet a list of good stores around Moulton where you will be called Mam and Sir by product knowledgeable employees.

My favorite out of town people-friendly stores are.... Dependable True Value, Russellville and Larry's in H'ville.

I thought this thread might have a lot of posts. Is it just a lack of pleasant shopping experiences in the Shoals area? I know the topic was Pleasant Shopping Experiences, but I thought this thread might have turned into a Wal-Mart bashing thread. You know, the whining about how employees at WM don't smile when customers come in the store.
Don't worry about any of that. I've already figured it all out. Your kids are old enough now to explain the "two moms" thing to their friends, and our dogs will get along fine. As for your husband, maybe we can cut an easy deal with him in exchange for his agreeing to do all of our shopping. Razzer
Honey, he's in and doesn't even know what's required of him, or care! But we have to think of something better than the shopping thing. He does it all anyway (including the back to school shopping for the kids, which thank the lord we don't have to do anymore). He did buy my daughter's birthday present (pink sapphire and diamond earrings). He got me a little glider sweeper and flowers. Such a romantic!

We'll have him cook, shop and do yard work!!! He can be "our" husband. I think we have a plan!
