PLEASE Help Justasking!!

If any one of you can help Justasking with some computer problems please leave the instructions on this thread!

I got a PM asking to start this thread because she can not start one due to the reasons below! She left this comment in the windchimes thread because thats all she could do!

Sorry to interrupt folks. I don't have any buttons to start a new thread. I am using firefox and for some reason they have disappeared. I'm sure it is something I have done but have no idea how to fix it. I cannot log in on explorer and have contacted TD for help. If anyone can tell me how to get back to the way firefox was before I messed it up will you please PM me. Thanks

I just got home from work. If you are still having problems either post on here or P/M me. I have to go out for a little while but I'll be back.

L has a good idea. It will work if it removes all the registry entries. Hopefully it will.

If not maybe we can start looking at removing add-ins individually. Or we can remove add-ins first.

Hi everyone! well it has been just awful trying everything I don't know how to do..lol...Thankyou all for checking back with me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and at one time i had it!! BUT it had the ads and I right clicked to remove them and it did...but it also removed the quote buttons and everything else. It is late now and I have done enough damage I'm sure. I will try again tomorrow. Thank y'all again for your help. Have a good night everyone. Will try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired. Thank you all very much.

Probably the best thing you can do is put a good anti-virus software on your computer and keep it updated. My wife downloaded something that included some malware. Whenever I started Explorer a window would pop up telling me I needed some special virus software. Basically, I would have to pay $50 to the same company that put the virus on my machine. A couple of scans; dumping a file or two, and then a final scan made it go away. I seriously considered hunting the person who created the adware down and burying him alive.
