Fast forward to next year. HRC will likely be the Democrat nominee. Let's say she wins. Let's say she wins re-election in 2012 and finishes that term.
That would make 28 years of Presidents with only two last names, Clinton and Bush. 1988-2016. God only knows if the younger generations of these families might not be ready to cash in on the franchise by then. Imagine Senator Chelsea Clinton, or Governor Barbara Bush running for president.
Would that be a profound lack of imagination on the peoples' part? Isn't there anybody else?
People used to say the Kennedys had a dynasty. These guys are making them look bush-league (pardon the pun).
