Ads pay for the content. That still doesn't make them particularly entertaining. The ads are probably flash based and you could try turning off flash in your internet security options. This may not be acceptable though if you surf the net much because flash is used heavily.
I was going to post the same thing. can't even get to the place to click to go back to the list of forums. that add will pop up and you can't click on where you want to go. very annoying. Its not going to encourage me to buy that product.
I am using Firefox, I see no ads. I have a add on that asks you if you wanna enable flash in different parts of the web page. I love it, no more flash ads for me I think it is called flash block.
Forum friends, if you move your mouse from the bottom of the page up to the headings and underneath the ad you can avoid this pop up continously blocking your headings. The key is to never let your cursor touch the ad box.
I use Firefox, and I started getting a full page popup ad from wal-mart. Firefox even says it blocked it, but it's still there. It's making navigating the forums extremely frustrating.
Somebody knows more than my computer. Pop-ups are suppossed to be blocked but yesterday every time i tryed to get to any of the forums, i got that full page Wal-Mart ad. I finally shut down and restarted and it was gone. Today Target seems to be the smart one.
Wanna hear something funny? I just restarted an old computer I haven't use in several months. The Timesdaily web site keeps asking me if I want to instal flash plugins so I can see the pop-up ads.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
