We steer far away from that place. Don't know which is worse...service or food...they both stink. Son in law got food poisoning from there. It has to be the worst Popeyes we've ever encountered.Employees are a bunch of self centered, arrogant and just plain hateful folks that act like they don't care whether you eat there or not.My money spends better elsewhere.
Well I've been there many times and with very few exceptions the Chicken has always been extremely fresh/hot and tasty. I always get the mild for the spicy is too much for my stomach given I have Crohns but I have to agree that it's the best in the area.

As for service I have to say that there have been times that I have been in, along with others, and felt that I was treated different than another person that was in front of me or behind me. Whether it was account of race I don't know and can't really say honestly but did make me wonder but it wasn't typical of the majority of times I've been in there. I also don't think Steve Tanner would allow such if he knew about it but then I really don't know him well enough to say with all certainty.

Popeyes is definitely not Churches and if you got a bad meal I'm surprised but I guess it does happen everywhere at times.
Not having to do with Popeyes, here or anywhere else, but I've noticed with chains even though you are supposed to have consistency it never seems to work out that way. Some are better than others though.

I used to live in McDonough, GA and one of the biggest surprises we had was how much better the KFC Chicken was there than here in the Shoals. It wasn't close it was so much better. On the other hand the Cracker Barrel there wasn't near as good as the one here in Florence and that wasn't close either.
