Hi Dlytle,

While I admire those who are bold enough to do street ministry; it is not the calling of all Christians.

I have seen some very good street ministry teams doing a great job of sharing the Gospel. A couple of years ago, my wife and I were walking on the beach in Newport Beach and a couple were there sharing and playing music. Dory and I enjoyed what they were doing and afterwards we stopped to talk with them.

This is a gift given by God to some; while He gives different gifts to others. He gave me the gift of writing and I will always use that gift to glorify Him. My wife is given the gift of music.

So, whether your gift is street preaching, writing, music, Bible study leading (which I love to do), or any of a number of other ministry gifts given by God -- we should do it with all our being, all our heart, for we are doing it to glorify Him.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

hey Bill.. didn't you just get through telling me that christians are supposed to do this, and that it has nothing to do with being a minister or preacher?

so why are you excluding yourself, if i'm not allowed to?

Hi Nagel,

My Friend, I am sorry that you are still having trouble in reading comprehension. Maybe if you try Ritalin it can help you.

I have said that "ALL CHRISTIANS" are called to share the Word of God, to evangelize, to bring the Word of God to folks. However, we all have different methods, different gifts, we use to do this.

As we are told in Ephesians 4:11-13, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ."

While He did not give me the gift of being a pastor, nor a street preacher -- He did give me the gift of writing and through this gift I have been sharing His Word for over twenty years.

What gift are you exercising in sharing His Gospel?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

I beg your pardon, Sir, but I see a whole lotta division and anger, and you are always smack in the middle of it. Why do you suppose that is?
I don't see that as effective sharing of the Gospel of our Lord. I don't see much done in love- mostly sarcasm, bitterness and a "my way or the high way" kind of writing. Perhaps your gift is yet to be revealed.

The hubris is astonishing. Absolutely calling for the harpies or gadflies to hound you over the River Styx, Bill. Astonishing in such a severe level of undeniable and one might well say "self-proclaimed" hubris and overwrought dramatic ego.

Why don't you start in the humble dept. and work your way up to the End Times years later after much practice in following the Example of Our Lord.

Have you tried the Mennonites? That would really help, I feel, or the Franciscans.

Hi Deep,

Although I lean on the Bible and have studied it for over twenty years -- I still learn something new every day from Scripture.

What are you learning in Hollywood these days?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

You are a venomous hateful man.
You do not spread the Word of God. You spread anger and contempt.

Aude, I know you won't dignify this with a response, but Bill, he is one of the most highly educated men I "know", and to belittle him in this way speaks volumes to your insecurity.
May God have mercy on You.

Hi VP,

Have you ever heard the story of the City Slicker, the Farmer, and the Mule? Well, let me refresh your memory. City Slicker moved to the country to be a Gentleman Farmer. He needed a mule and Farmer had one for sale. So City Slicker goes to visit Farmer.

Farmer tells him, "This Mule is very gentle. You have to be gentle with him."

Not a problem says City Slicker -- I will buy him. Farmer takes his money and hands him the reins. City Slicker begins to lead Mule away -- but, Mule digs in and refuses to budge. City Slicker is getting a bit upset.

Then, Farmer walks over, picks up a 2X4 and hits Mule on the head. Immediately Mule begins to walk with City Slicker.

Confused, City Slicker told Farmer, "I thought you told me Mule is a gentle animal and I must treat him gently. Then, you hit him on the head with a 2X4! What are you doing?"

Farmer smiled, then told City Slicker, "That is true. But, first, you have to get his attention!"

VP, for years I have been trying to get Neal/Aude's attention, asking him if we can have civil dialogues with no name calling and nastiness. His only answer to these pleas for civility -- have been even more and worse name calling and nastiness.

So, like Farmer with Mule -- we have to first get Neal/Aude's attention.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
