Principal/Teacher on paid leave

Why has the TD not reported on Waterloo's principal and a Waterloo teacher being on administrative paid leave for improper behavior? Maybe the ones involved have the pull to keep it out of the media. The principal should not be allowed back in a leadership position if this is what he does. I just hate it for the families but if you "Play you Pay"

The same reason it hasent been released that the nurse and a supervisor was fired from the Lauderdale County Jail almost a month before the primaries. They dident want to hurt the campaign. But it doesent bother anybody to print photo's of grieving family members or the Horrific wreck scenes. What about printing that the Sheriff of this county has had the approval to hire 2 deputies for over a month now to put on the streets so the deputies out there running there butt's off will have backup closer than 20 minutes away.

dd75, I just would like all the people to know because a lot of GOOD teachers are loosing their jobs and these kind of "Employees" don't need to keep theirs if they can't control theirself. You can call it "gossip", I call it "Fact", and the parents ought to be made aware of this kind of stuff that is going on at our schools. I do think this is a private matter until a Principal gets involved, He represents not only the school, he represents the community, faculty, the LCBOE, and most important, the students. nobody is perfect including me, but BV shouldn't cover up for some and hang others out to dry.

Hi DD75, I can think of one that was hung out to dry. But, thats a different story. Lets talk about this one.
An administrator, employed and paid over the summer, and a guidance counselor (to our children) also employed over the summer slung up on his desk? Really? I mean now come on, thats just a tad BOLD isn't it?
Busted by the secretary, that just happens to be her mother in law?
Whats sad is, this will slide. He is apparently connected. Nothing will come of it. Wow. Great to see what we pay for in our school system.

No mollymae, what is sad is that 95% of what you said is false. But true or not, you have put these disgusting ideas into all the heads of those who read this, and unfortunately the bad stuff is what they remember. I understand that people are free to say what they like, but PLEASE remember that they are human beings who have made a mistake. WE all do. Also remember that these two have family members who are also suffering,and reading this kind of stuff just hurts even more.As far as their jobs, they are both excellent at their jobs and NOTHING happened on campus. A note for everyone, please keep them in your prayers, this will help a lot more than any posting,

Thank you for your attempt at damage control. It seems that the lure of anonymity is intoxicating for those with an axe to grind. Childish and unfortunate. How about those who show up here just to spew their venom...JUST GO AWAY. Or go tell it to your self righteous church group.

Did you forget that defaming someones character in such a way as this is just as much of a sin as the indiscretion itself.

murdock and mollymae - apparently you two are just on here to start more rumors and say untrue things. Whatever did happen - is between the man and woman and their families. YES - I do understand they work at a school and all that, BUT nothing was done on campus so therefore, it is nobody's business!! It's sad that two people mess up, WHICH EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD MAKES MISTAKES, and people jump to conclusions....

I've heard some details and sorry, but most of what was posted by Mollymae was what we were told too.

If they are on paid leave it had to have happened on campus or in the function of their job (on field trip etc), otherwise, the board wouldn't have blinked.

I am very frustrated with the board and how they handle the drama. It's political season so we won't hear anything about this. It will get swept under the rug and these people will go back to work and probably get promotions. Wonder if he'll get to go to Central now or if they will just transfer her out of Waterloo. I can say that how this is handled will help me decide who to vote for come November. If this is true and it gets covered up -- the "protectors" (even if they are just candidates now) will definitely not get my votes. It does seem to be a slap in the face to the ones wanting a teaching job and can't get their foot in the door because they don't have connections.

The political season shouldn't have anything to do with how this is handled because none of the current board members are running for re-election.
