Hi to my Forum Friends,

JUST A SHORT TIME AGO, a military officer was punished for praying in public while wearing his military uniform.   Yet, today we read that military personal have been granted permission to march in a "Gay Pride Parade" -- in full military uniform.  What is the Obama administration trying to do to America?

a military officer was punished for praying in public while wearing his military uniform

Would you have a re pu table link? I found this link with this story:

09/13/2006

A military jury today convicted a Navy chaplain of a misdemeanor count of disobeying his commanding officer for wearing his uniform while delivering a prayer “in Jesus’ name” at an assembly in front of the White House.

“But I had prior written permission to wear my uniform if it was a religious observance, (so) prayers are not a religious observance,” Lt. Gordon James Klingenschmitt told WND after the military court-martial recessed for the night.

“Therefore I disobeyed my commanding officer’s order not to pray in uniform,” he said.

Klingenschmitt, who raised immediate concerns with this superiors when the Navy issued a new order that prayers could only be “nonsectarian,” also has alleged he was punished for raising those concerns, and later notifying Congress and President Bush of the situation.

President Bush? Do you have another link to another case, or are you just Juggle the truth as usual??

Way to go, Obama!  You have just bought a handful of votes -- while selling out millions of Americans

I pray that every Christian church in America prints and distributes this article.  Remember, you few Obama supporters, we are only discussing the issues -- not telling anyone who should get our votes.

We will leave that up to you to vote your Christian faith -- or your common sense vote.

PENTAGON GIVES THE RAINBOW LIGHT FOR PARADE

http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/a...bow-light-for-parade

The US Department of Defense says it will allow service members to march in uniform in a gay pride parade for the first time in history.

The Pentagon issued a military-wide directive saying it was making an exception to its policy that generally bars troops from marching in uniform in parades.

The exception was being made for San Diego's Gay Pride Parade that will take place on Sunday (NZT).

The department said it was making the exception because parade organisers had invited service members to march in uniform and the matter was getting national attention.

The exception is only for this year's parade in San Diego and does not extend beyond that, the Pentagon said. Parade organisers welcomed the news.

"San Diego Pride is honoured to have the privilege of celebrating our country and our service members with dignity and respect,'' said San Diego LGBT Pride executive director Dwayne Crenshaw. "The fight for equality is not over and it is not easy, but this is a giant leap in the right direction."

Hmm...the first part of Bill's original post was disproven so now he is concentrating on the second part. Do any of you really think Obama told the Department of Defense that they had to do this?

I suppose Bill thinks, as someone said in a different thread, that it's Obama's fault the country is in drought. He probably thinks it's Obama's fault his friend from yet another thread is sick. I bet he thinks it's Obama's fault Bill doesn't know the meaning of the word "snarky" too.

I pray that every Christian church in America prints and distributes this article.

-----------------------

There you go, there's part of your problem, you pray for stupid things. And that should read, every "disrep utable" church. Perk up bill, I'm sure the westboro church, and the good "reverend" salman have your back on this one.

Bill's playbook options:
a) Never go back to that thread. They've got my number.

b) Start a new identical thread where I accuse everyone else of something or other.

c) Copy and paste one of my boring, pre-made lectures, not answer anything/anyone, pretend I didn't just get reamed.

d) All of the above. They'll never ever notice that I'm evading responsibility for my actions in order to preserve my ungodly narcissism.

Klingenschmitt is the only one saying that he was punished for praying in uniform.  In reality he was punished for appearing in uniform at a political protest in front of the White House.  It does not matter if he did lead a prayer at the event he was specifically told not to appear at political protests in uniform.  http://www.washingtonpost.com/...AR2006091401544.html  And before anyone try the ACLU angle, they had nothing to do with the stopping of chaplains saying "In the name of Jesus".  In fact there really isn't anything credible saying that it was banned, except for this guy wanting President Bush to make an executive order to guarantee the right to say it.

If you look at the statements he made from 2006 onward on various things it looks like he's starting all of these issues to gain some fame and followers IMHO.

Following his standard protocol for propaganda , Bill has made an incomplete, truncated summary of the situation with that "military officer" and then used it as an example of something that it is NOT an example of.

And Bill got nailed again for his transparent deception.

And Bill scooted away from that part of his post with the speed of summer lightning.

We are now waiting for the new thread to appear as a diversionary attempt to avoid having his nose rubbed in his erroneous representation in this string.

History repeats itself.

Doing a study"?  Oh, yeah--that is what you do, Bill,  when you want to "prove" some preconceived notion that contaminates your dwindling thought processes.
