I've lived in Colbert County my entire 36 years, minus the 5 I was in the Navy, and I'll be voting for Tina Parker. You can add my whole family to that list, too. You post garbage like it's facts waaay too often. I'm sure the congregation out in Ford City are proud. Your name should be Poopthrower, not Jugflier.

Go back and read the thread, at the time of that statement it pretty accurate. I researched the people who were posting then.

I don't have to go back and read the thread. I posted factual information. You're obviously toting a big woody for hating on Tina and I'm tired of your garbage. You've said the same "carp" in other threads, so don't try to make yourself sound so innocent.

So you have no problem with Tina's friends on here calling the other candidates names, but don't like someone like myself pointing out why I feel she isn't a good choice.
For the record. Correct me, what have I said about her that is not true?
this is from SSpeaks June 2009 announcement of TMP new office in the Shoals.. less than a year ago

Tina Parker Opens Office in Muscle Shoals

Tina Miller Parker, as yet unannounced candidate for Colbert County District Judge, has opened a second law office. Parker, a Muscle Shoals resident, has been practicing law in Florence for several years, having an office on South Cedar Street in the legal district.

Parker's new office is located at 2602 South Wilson Dam Road in Muscle Shoals. A specialist in personal injury cases, Parker's practice has rapidly expanded the past few years, making the move into Colbert County a natural progression.

When can we expect Tina to officially announce her candidacy? We hear there's to be a huge shindig in Muscle Shoals' Gattman Park shortly after Independence Day. We'll bring you more details on that as the date nears--that is unless we decide to keep all the hotdogs to ourselves.
Jug,
The only reason you gave that Tina wasn't qualified is the fact that she has no children. You state that she wouldn't be able to make the right decisions regarding children since she's not experienced. She used to own/operate a daycare facility in MUSCLE SHOALS. That's on this side of the river.
Did I ever say I had no problem with people calling Tina's opposition names? NO!

Since you didn't say anything of substance that would discredit Tina, I don't really have anything to refute. I do have a problem, however, with you being so dead-set against her without giving one GOOD reason. You've been nothing but hateful, over and over. If your actions stemmed from righteous indignation, I might see your point, but they don't. You're not making yourself look like someone I'd want to listen to on a Sunday or Wednesday, or any other day. If I didn't feel the need to attempt to keep your garbage in check I'd put you on "ignore."

Basically, what you've said about Tina that isn't true is that she's not qualified. According to the qualifications of the position, she IS qualified. She's even more qualified if you know her personally. She's a Christian. She commits a great deal of time to helping her community. She's an active member of a congregation IN COLBERT COUNTY and sings in the choir. She is also very involved with the local animal shelter, which is all right by me. She's a daughter, sister, and aunt. She spends time with her family. Sure, she's divorced, but by no fault of her own, unless you count getting married as a fault. She works her butt off and that's more than I can say for a great deal of people in the area.

So, if you've got more mud to sling, you'd best put your jug down.

Completely wrong. I condemned the gangsty;le attack by your black sheep friends on Tim Milam because he believed that made him a better candidate. That was his right to say that. It was also a legitimate argument.

I believe the kind of people you associate with or are friends with speak volumes about your character. The posting on here for the last few days confirm my previous statements about the kind of friends she has. It has been here friends on here slinging mud and calling names. A friend of mine tried to trace the IP on some of them and they use a scrambler to cover their multiple identities and cover their tracks. Sounds like honesty to me.

By all means, knock yourself out. I am entitled to my personal opinions, and based on my experiences, I think she is a bad choice.

I have said because of what I consider character issues, she is a bad choice.

I haven't slung any mud. i have stood in the gap to stop your side from decieving people with the type of tactics you have employed in the past.

I am going to put this question to you that none of your people will answer. Give us a reason why your candidate would be a better judge than any of the other candidates? Why should I vote for her over anyone alse?

Where's the deception, Jug? MY people? Tina, based on my personal experience with her, her qualifications, and her community service, is a great choice for District Judge. I couldn't care less for whom you vote. That's your business, using your opinion. You haven't given anyone ANY reason to go along with you regarding your choice for office. If anything, you've made your guy look bad.
I haven't said anything negative about ANY candidate recently. All I've done is defend Tina based on what I think are good qualities for anything, public office or otherwise.
