Rail Car Plant Leaving Story/Non-Story?

Some politicians need to go to jail.

Are they really leaving, as in packing up and shuttering the plant, or just hibernating?

Dunno, but why is Forest Wright trying to find someone to take over the building. I read about Jim Bonner and his "info" on the ABI investigating it. I hope they can get some of our money back.

wasn't there an article a couple weeks back where they were talking about expecting things to pick up soon? now there is talk of shutting down?

I went back and read that article and it was talking about how the industrial park needed all those improvements anyway, so I'm thinking the TD knew then that all was over with the railcar plant.

BTW, nobody at the TD has answered if they're going to do a follow up story, stone Trevor, sue the railcar plant, or what?

Please take note. The TD was acquired by the Decatur Daily. The Decatur Daily has long been a shill for industry and they are bringing this form of press agentry "journalism" to the Shoals. There is nothing wrong with publishing good news about industrial development, but a NEWSpaper should function to tell ALL the news, even news that might not inspire optimism about economic conditions in this fair city or region.

News is all a function of advertising. Circulation pays for nothing but circulation.

The alternative media, such as Shoalanda, can put out information much more inexpensively. They have fewer toes to step on.

I encourage advertisers to take advantage of the reasonable rates offered by the alternative media. At least you'll be associated with honesty and truth.
