Please take note. The TD was acquired by the Decatur Daily. The Decatur Daily has long been a shill for industry and they are bringing this form of press agentry "journalism" to the Shoals. There is nothing wrong with publishing good news about industrial development, but a NEWSpaper should function to tell ALL the news, even news that might not inspire optimism about economic conditions in this fair city or region.
News is all a function of advertising. Circulation pays for nothing but circulation.

The alternative media, such as Shoalanda, can put out information much more inexpensively. They have fewer toes to step on.

I encourage advertisers to take advantage of the reasonable rates offered by the alternative media. At least you'll be associated with honesty and truth.
